The Potomac Hunt Races offer a unique opportunity to entertain your family or host a party for your friends and/or business right here in the DMV. Held just outside DC in Poolesville, MD, the races are convenient, yet supremely unique in their offerings. In addition to running multiple races throughout the day featuring the area’s top steeplechase horses, we also offer shopping at Vendor Village, a Kid Zone and between-race entertainment.

There are three ways to attend the races: Railside Parking, Premium Unreserved Parking and Offsite (Shuttle) Parking. All passes can be purchased online and you’re strongly advised to purchase in advance. More information on the types of parking can be found on our Getting There page.

Our Vendor Village offers a variety of shopping opportunities from clothing, to housewares and more – the selection varies each year. Food vendors can be found just outside Vendor Village in the infield, and they too vary, but typically include a mix of savory and sweet options.
